Russian and Western Economic Thought

Vladimir Avtonomov is a Distinguished Professor and Head of the Research Group in History and Methodology of Economics at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Moscow (NRU HSE), Russia. He is also Department Head of the Primakov Institute of World Economy and International Relations at the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMEMO RAN), a Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and serves on the editorial boards of the European Journal of History of Economic Thought and several Russian economic journals. He is Editor-in-Chief of the almanac Istoki (The Sources). He has been awarded the Varga Prize by the Russian Academy of Sciences. Harald Hagemann is a Professor Emeritus of Economic Theory at the University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany. He is also a Life Member of Clare Hall, University of Cambridge, Honorary Past President of the European Society for the History of Economic Thought (ESHET), and Honorary Chairman of the Keynes-Gesellschaft.
